Athletes are not skillful if they can complete a movement pattern in isolation (i.e on the pads), they are skillful if they can adapt those movement patterns and create new ones based on the problem in front of them (live opponent).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Exercises don’t need to ground breaking new games it can simply be taking the above drill but instead of giving the perfect throw each time have zones low middle and high where the ball can go and you must try react and get the ball depending which zone it goes to. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
