As a young kid looking to become a sparring champion, I was always studying the best in sports to find the champion SECRETS to success.
Looking back now it was very naive of me to think that a particular food, song, routine, technique would be the sole missing aspect of the equation to success.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now as an experienced “veteran” of the sport, I can see that same curiosity in young kids and even adults.
All searching for that champion secret that only the best are privy to, in a secret champions club.
Trust me! There are none! There is no special , drill, training method, technique or anything else that is going help you fast track your path to being the best you can be.
There is good news and bad news…
The good news is, it’s simple all it takes is consistent hard work in a challenging environment.
The bad news, as it suggests…. hard work isn’t easy, if so everyone would be great at their chosen path.
So my advice? Stop looking for the quick fix, shortcuts easy path, secrets to succes.
A champion is a mindset, those who are the best simply have the grit and mentally to test themselves and push hard.
It’s simple, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. Just continuously work hard and challenge yourself. The secret is, there are none!
